Well since Ho-Tep he's pretty much been off the radar, but now he's back with the strangest looking film I've seen in quite a while John Dies At The End.
Based on a novel by David Wong the plot synopsis reads as thus "two twenty-something losers who gain extra sensory perception via a substance called Soy Sauce, a black liquid that acts like a potent drug, but seemingly has a mind of its own" although the trailer offers something much more involved.
It's got Coscarelli's stamp all over it and looks like it could be a really good, trippy ride.
The fact that the movie also stars Paul Giamatti makes this a must watch. Check out the trailer and enjoy the crazyness on offer.
