King's Under The Dome Finds A Writer

www.tips-fb.com
Not strictly movie news, but since Spielberg is attached to it and it concerns a Stephen King novel I thought it might interest a few of you.

Yes, the writer of the upcoming Green Lantern - wait come back, give it a chance - movie has been signed on to write the mini-series of King's Under The Dome.

For those of you who don't know the premise of the novel, at that includes me, here's basically what its about

On October 21st, the town of Chester's Mill, Maine, USA, is suddenly and inexplicably cut off from the rest of the world by an invisible barrier. No-one can get in and no-one can get out. An estimated 2,000 people are trapped inside what they begin to call 'the Dome'. Later that day the airspace over Chester's Mill is declared a no-fly zone. While the rest of the world looks on in fascination, life under the Dome takes a sinister turn, as a new social order develops. And the lives of ordinary people are thrown into the realm of the extraordinary

Sounds great, similar to The Simpsons movie but obviously a lot more serious. I hope.

Anyone read the novel and want to lend more to this story? Comments welcome as always.
