Joesph Gordon Levitt Could Be The Riddler?

Joesph Gordon Levitt, last seen in Inception, is to star in The Dark Knight Rises but as yet there's nothing official about what role he'll play.

The rumour mill has Levitt pencilled in as The Riddler but with Bane and Catwoman already cast this may bog the movie down with villains.

If past superhero movies have taught us anything, and yes Spiderman 3 I'm looking at you, too many villains can cause a lot of problems and distract its audience from the main plot. However, surely Christopher Nolan is too smart to let that happen and it'll be interesting to see what role Levitt ends up playing.
