I Saw The Devil - Red Band Trailer

Just watched the trailer for I Saw The Devil and boy does it look good. A delirious story of serial killer vs boyfriend out for revenge. This looks violent, bloody and torturously (pun intended) good fun. Just look at the poster. Fantastic!

Directed by The Good, The Bad and The Weird's Kim Ji-Woon and starring Oldboy himself Choi Min-Sik this could go down as one of the best Korean movies of recent time.

Since Eastern cinema has been diluted by loathsome Hollywood remakes its quietly kept itself to itself with a few trickles (Uncle Boonmee Who Can Recall His Past Lives) reaching picture houses. Hopefully now I Saw The Devil will ignite the spark that once burned so brightly for eastern Cinema and start to flood the western cine-plexes again, sans remakes of course.
