Expendables 2 Casting News

Last years The Expendables had, without doubt, the beefiest, most testosterone fuelled cast you could possibly imagine. Shame the film didn't match its cast.

Well Expendables 2 is doing what all good (and bad) sequels do and upping the star wattage. Yes it would appear there's going to be even more muscle on display now.

Brace yourself action fans as the cast list now reads as follows. Sylvester Stallone, Jason Statham, John Travolta, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Chuck Norris, Jean-Claude Van Damme, Dolph Lundgren, Mickey Rourke. Who else? Of course, Bruce Willis.

So most of the original cast but the two stand out names have got to be Chuck Norris and Van Dammage. If you throw in the fact that Arnold is now returning to acting you have to ask yourself could he be up for a larger role this time around?

I admire the cast but hope this time they put as much effort into the story and make a more interesting film.
