Terminator Will Be Back

Oh dear. Here we go again. Now that Arnold has finished governating California the rumour mills are a flood with rumblings that the big man is courting the idea of returning the The Terminator franchise. Please God no.

Universal are said to be offering the gig to a number of directors, one of whom, Justin Lin (Fast Five), seems to be the favourite. For what my opinion is worth, and its not worth much, I think it's an horrendous idea.

I don't think Arnold should return and I don't think there should be anything there for him to return to in the Terminator world. T3 was pretty poor and T4, even with Christian Bale, was terrible. It seems that the latter sequels are undoing the great work James Cameron did on the first two, which is a damn shame.

Leave well alone, you've done enough damage already. However, Commando 2 ........
