Moneyball was originally going to be directed by Steven Soderbergh, he left and everything seemed to stop. Then Bennett Miller came along and finished the film. Now we have the first trailer.
It looks pretty good to me. Yes it's the age old underdogs do well storyline but it seems to have a bit of spark and energy behind it as well as a pretty clever idea.
Seems to be a straight version of Major League (without the Warlock obviously) and I have to admit I'm a sucker for these types of movies.
