Corey Haim, one half of the 'Corey's' (the other being Feldman) has died at the age of 38. No cause of death has been announced at this time.
Haim didn't become 'the next big thing' many predicted after The Lost Boys and struggled with drug addiction for a long time. The roles he was offered late on in life where mostly the straight to DVD type, with a fleeting appearance in the awful Lost Boys sequel The Tribe.
The Lost Boys was a career highlight that showed Haim could carry off a major motion picture at such a young age. He held his own with the likes of Jason Patrick, Kiefer Sutherland, Dianne Wiest and Edward Herrmann which was no mean feat.
Bouncing of Corey Feldman, which he went to make several more films with, they made The Lost Boys the nostalgic joy-ride that it still is today.

He died last year, Jon noticed this article on the BBC this week and announced that he died but I had to point out it occured March 2010 rather than now. Think some glitch has made it re-surface oddly on the BBC.
Still RIP Corey - 17 February 2011 at 14:48
