Jamie Foxx Could Be Django

Initially it was Will Smith who was attached to the lead role in Quentin Tarantino's Django Unchained but now it seems its Jamie Foxx.

Sources seem to think Smith turned down the role, but seeing as he's accepting fair like Men In Black III these days, a return to a potential Oscar nomination with this role would seem a bit off the mark.

Foxx is a solid addition (if it indeed this is true) and I'm a fan of his work in Any Given Sunday, Ray and Collateral so for me this is good news.

I'd still prefer to see Will Smith in the role, I think he's much better than the parts he's getting these days but you can't argue with Tarantino when it comes to casting - he knows his stuff.
