With Diane Lane and Kevin Costner also locked in as Martha and Jonathan Kent, Adams addition brings another dimension to a cast that's starting to look very impressive.

I think Adams is a quality actress who can switch persona in a blink of an eye. You only need look at her credits and three Oscar nominations to see that the woman is made of credible stuff.
A good, solid addition and I'm keen to see who's added next.
