Kevin Costner To Be Superman's Dad?

There was a time when Kevin Costner's name was a big box office draw. Money was thrown at him and he could basically make what he wanted. Then came Waterworld and The Postman and it all went horribly wrong.

Well It now looks like he's going to get another chance at a big Hollywood movie after rumours surfaced that he's in line to play Jonathan Kent, Superman's human father.

I don't think Costner is a bad actor or director, I just think he made some bad choices. I still think his crowning achievement is JFK with The Untouchables a close second and so it's good to see his name bounded around a big budget production again.

Superman seems to be shaping up quite nicely and like Zack Synder (the director) film style, although I think he could tone down the slow motion sequences a little.
