Secondly, read this post about Martin McDonagh, director of In Bruges, new project, Seven Psychopaths. He's cobbling a cast together that is starting to sound really impressive. Walken, Rourke, Farrell and Rockwell.
Yes that's Christopher Walken, Mickey Rourke, Colin Farrell and Sam Rockwell. That's not too bad at all, and to think, he's still got several more major roles to fill! Top class Sir, top class.
Seven Psychopaths will tell the tale of screenwriter (Farrell), struggling with a script, and, for inspiration, hanging out with his friends Walken and Rockwell, who operate a dog-kidnapping scam. No doubt dark hilarity ensues, especially when the trio snatch a hound belonging to none-too-happy gangster Rourke.
Quite an off beat storyline but something that's most definitely different to the norm and in my book that's got to be a good thing.
I'll be keeping a close eye on this one and in the meantime I'm off to watch fucking In Bruges again. Ralph Fiennes - You Rock!
