This really is one of those films that will live or die by its CGI quality and judging by the trailer it looks like it could actually work. Although I'm still pretty much on the fence with it.
Story seems straight forward enough, ex boxer whose lost his way reconnects with his estranged son through the medium of robot boxing and thus finds a way back into the sport and his sons heart. As you do.
The thing that troubles me most is the dramatic family element of the film, oh and the Anakin clone they have playing the kid. It reeks of mid-afternoon weepy dramas that your mum used to make you watch as a punishment for kicking the dog. I mean, we all know how this one will end right?
