The Hobbit Has Started Filming!

www.tips-fb.com
At last! Everyone breath a huge sigh of relief. It's been the most on and off project for god knows how long but the cameras on The Hobbitt finally started rolling yesterday.

Peter Jackson has returned to Middle Earth and all is good in the world. Like Morgan Freeman's deep, warm voice this story makes me feel happy and safe.

Right enough of the ridiculous sensitive chunter above, back to business. The current cast includes Martin Freeman as Bilbo, Dwarves Richard Armitage (Thorin Oakenshield), Ken Stott (Balin), Graham McTavish (Dwalin), William Kircher (Bifur), James Nesbitt (Bofur), Stephen Hunter (Bombur), Rob Kazinsky (Fili), Aidan Turner (Kili), Peter Hambleton (Gloin), John Callen (Oin), Jed Brophy (Nori), Mark Hadlow (Dori) and Adam Brown (Ori), plus Ian McKellen’s Gandalf.

However Heat Vision Blog are reporting that two other cast members have signed on, with New Zealand actors Jeffrey Thomas and Mike Mizrahi joining up as Dwarf Kings Thror and Thrain.

And there's more! Warner Bros. has finally officially confirmed the casting of Cate Blanchett (Galadriel), Elijah Wood (Frodo) and Andy Serkis (Gollum). C'mon!

I do treat you well my lovely readers and to shower you with even more gifts, here's a couple of pictures of Peter Jackson on the Hobbitt Set.
