I'm not 100% sure why I don't like the look of it, all I know is that I just don't. Is it too generic? Is it because it's just more of the same comic book nonsense and I'm getting a little tired of it now? Possibly.
I've not read the comics and I don't know Thor's back story - Is the film from directly from a comic story? It would certainly explain the standard 'hero comes to earth and ends up protecting us from invaders' type dealio.
Maybe I'm just getting too old and grouchy and should learn to just go with it for these types of films but for some reason they all seem too silly for me these days. Christ it is the age thing isn't it?
