Stephen King really is hot property at the moment, following The Dark Tower and The Stand comes the news that Paramount and due to resurrect Pet Sematary.
Originally made back in 1989 from Kings novel it follows the Creed family move into a new home right next door to an ancient Indian Burial ground (isn't it always the way).
They later find that the old Pet Sematary can bring things back to life, including their cat and son, the only problem is they return as evil zombie type beings.
The original didn't really set the world alight and the least said about the sequel the better but there's promise in the novel and with the right type of team it could be something worth while.
However, the recent spate of horror remakes (Friday The 13th, Nightmare On Elm Street & The Texas Chainsaw Massacre) have been fairly rubbish so I think a new tact and method is needed to inject new life into a dying genre.
