Vin Diesel Asks You A Question

www.tips-fb.com
Pitch Black was a good, low budget, intense, sci-fi actioner. The Chronicles Of Riddick was convoluted and just too bloated. So do we want to see a third instalment of the Riddick Chronicles?

Well that's essentially what Vin Diesel is asking via his Facebbook page. Apparently he may need to take a pay cut for this to happen so is asking you, his fans, if he should. The poor dear.

Here's what the struggling actor had to say;

"[David Twohy] the writer/director just landed in New York with the good news. We can start filming this summer. However, there is a catch...in order for us to make a true R-rated film, I must work for scale upfront. Not unlike the Find me Guilty experience (which I wouldn't have changed for the world). Money is always second to art, integrity and spirit...but the real issue is deeper. Can I suspend my life, to momentarily venture to that dark place...called Riddick. Now, I need to hear from Our collective...you."

Now lets look at Vin's selective earnings as reported on IMDB - The Fast and the Furious (2001) $2,000,000, xXx (2002) $10,000,000, A Man Apart (2003) $2,500,000, The Chronicles of Riddick (2004) $11,500,000 and most recently Fast & Furious 5 (2011) $15,000,000. Total for just these which doesn't include his paychecks for other movies, $41M. I just don't know how he manages to survive on that.

Seriously, why is he patronising people by posting this? He has a job millions of people would dream of doing and by asking whether he should take a pay cut (which I'm assuming would still be in the millions!) just rubs it in our face.

I think this is just low - Just do the damn film you pretentious prick and pick up your still bloated paycheck at the end.
