BP Spill - The Movie?

Right, I gotta rush through this as its a busy day at work. It seems a movie is in the pipeline which will be based on the BP oil spill. No this won't be a documentary but a really real movie.

Cinemablend released the story and they had this to report

The film will be based on a New York Times article titled Deepwater Horizon’s Final Hours written by David Barstow, David Rohde, and Stephanie Saul, which chronicled in depth the events leading up to and including the sinking of the now legendary oil rig. At the screenwriting pen is Ninja Assassin writers Matthew Sand who has no other credits under his belt to assure us of Horizons’ quality.

Lets hope they treat this with the right amount of respect.
